Where did the Free Beer Band come from?  Who are all these other bands on the internent that say they are the Free Beer Band?

We can confidentally say that we are the original Free Beer Band.

Gary, one of the Founding Members of FBB, was asked about the history of the Free Beer Band:
"It all started when I was a young lad growing up in Camden in the late sixties. I was walking by the Bano compound ( Russ wasn't allowed to hang out with us 'bad influences') when I heard the mediocre guitar playing ( I think he was trying to play 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps'). I put down my beer and knocked on the door. Russ answered with a gun strapped on his side. After I convinced him I meant him no harm, he let me in. I showed him a few things he was doing wrong and a friendship was born. He offered me a beer for my efforts and at that instant the 'Free Beer Band' was born.

We managed to survive the riots of the sixties and seventies and as fate would have it, share our music with the world. Did a brief stint with another guitar player as 'Huey, Duey and Louie' ( acoustic stuff ). Played with other members of the Free Beer Band until the last few years when we added some very talented people to become the band we are today. I would like to tell you more but, the seventies are pretty much a blur."
